A guindo is a wild cherry tree, a very tall and leafy tree that grows abundantly in the Palencia mountain, where we usually spend our summers at the family home.

Guindo is a digital product design studio founded by Carol Alonso and Sergi Sánchez Mancha. We have been in the field of interaction design since the late 90s, for many years, working in various environments and devices: desktop software, web and mobile applications, ATMs... collaborating with startups, consulting firms, and large multinational companies.

We specialize in providing design solutions for productivity environments, digital tools in which task optimization and user efficiency improvement are key.

Our experience makes us perfect partners for startups or teams that need to shape ideas, mediating and reaching consensus on solutions between developers and product managers, promoting consistency, maintenance, control, and project growth. We adapt very well from the early stages of project definition (research, analysis, and conceptualization), through information architecture, visual design, prototyping, and user validation.

We are also partners and product owners of StepAlong, a new tool focused on creating tutorials and instructions. Designed specifically to enhance the experience of creating and following instructions, it is aimed at assisting creators and helping users complete tasks more efficiently.
